The Love List-6.21.10

Posted on June 21, 2010

With time at a premium these days, I’ve decided to cut back on blogging. One day, I’ll be back on a more regular basis, but for now, it’s going to be once a week. My favorite posts to write have always been Friday Favorites, so that will be the direction for my weekly posts.  You can always follow me  daily  on twitter (@style_curator) I hope you enjoy the weekly Love List. So, here it is!

I’ve expressed  my love for Suno New York many times. I must have this dress from Resort 2011. Check out the rest of the collection here.

The  Welsh potter Paul Philp is brilliant. I love his use  of texture and earthy colors. His pieces almost resemble a relic found in an archeological dig. Although he has been making pottery for over 40 years, he still experiments (and sometimes fails) with his surfaces to create that worn -in look. Learn more about him here.

Leave it to Madewell to make my new favorite shirt. I’ve worn this with jeans dressed up with gold heels and I plan on wearing it a million other ways all summer long (beach cover-up, perhaps?)

Designer and store owner Lee Kleinhelter is well-known in the Domino-cum-Lonny Mag world. She is the proprietor of Pieces, Inc a refreshing and cheerful store in Atlanta. She was recently featured in LonnyMag, and this was the image I was most taken with.Lee effortlessly mixes iconic pieces to create a  simple, yet elegant statement.  We all need a little Hermes and Eames in our lives!
